Suits: LA has officially been given a full series order on NBC after shooting a pilot episode earlier this year.

The upcoming legal drama moves the story from New York to Los Angeles following the conclusion of the hit USA Network series in 2019.

Originally starring Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle, the spin-off will refresh things with a brand new cast led by Arrow and Heels’ Stephen Amell.

He’ll be playing Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor who originally worked in NYC before opening up his own firm on the West Coast.

A synopsis reads: “His firm is at a crisis point and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.

“Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”

Other main cast members include Rachelle Goulding, Victoria Justice, Troy Winbush, John Amos and Josh McDermitt.

Following the exciting announcement over the weekend, fans have also been given their first-ever sneak peek at the upcoming drama.

A familiar sight for Suits fans, the new still features Stephen’s character Ted looking serious in a sharp black suit in a swanky office overlooking the LA skyline.

The Heels star posted the image to his personal Instagram, where it received an ecstatic reception from his followers.

“Excited to see this series,” one fan replied. “I confess, I still watch Arrow on Netflix every day. My daughter makes fun of me, but I don't care.”

Another exclaimed: “OMG!! I needed this so hard, the kind where I didn’t even know I needed it.”

“I have no words to express how excited I am to see Stephen Amell star in this series. Miss the Archer,” a third said.

Many others also reference Stephen’s popular breakout role as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on the popular CW superhero show.

“Oh my god I thought this was Oliver Queen and my heart skipped a beat,” one comic book enthusiast said.

Stephen may not be donning green spandex this time round, but eager viewers can expect to see him suiting up on NBC at some point next year.
